Based on the Asclepion MCL31 Dermablate platform

The Juliet laser treatment is performed using an Erbium:YAG laser that, thanks to its unique technical features, represents the best option for vaginal treatments, with no risk of side effects and minimal down-time.

The procedure is performed by using the MCL31 Dermablate laser by Asclepion, a best selling laser worldwide in the field of aesthetic medicine. Similarly to the procedure used for facial rejuvenation, the Juliet laser treatment uses light energy to gently deliver energy to the tissue and stimulate it to produce new collagen.

A technology for comprehensive care of women’s health

The Juliet technology can also be upgraded with a number of additional handpieces, such as:

the V-Spot handpiece re-sterilizable and intended for multiple use, with 90° or 360° reflecting gold-coated mirror.

How Juliet works
A minimally-invasive laser treatment stimulating the new production of collagen and elastin in the vaginal tissue

The Juliet laser treatment improves women gynecological health thanks to a minimally invasive treatment whose goal is the stimulation of new collagen and elastin production, along with an improved vascularization of the vaginal mucosa.

How does it happen?
Similarly to the procedure used for facial rejuvenation, the Juliet laser treatment uses light energy to gently deliver energy to the tissue and stimulate it to produce new collagen.

The special Erbium:YAG wavelength used for the treatment allows for reaching the sub-mucosal layers (lamina propria), rich in collagen that can be stimulated “selectively”, meaning with no damage to the surrounding tissue.

The wall of the vagina, in fact, is composed of four different layers:
• Epithelium – Internal lining of epithelial tissue made up of squamous epithelial cells
• Lamina propria – Connective tissue that supports the mucosa and connects it to the muscularis
• Muscularis – Muscle tissue
• Adventitia – Connective tissue interlaced with elastic fibers, connects the vagina to surrounding organs

The objective of the laser treatment is to reach the lamina propria, which is elastic and rich in collagen.

Thanks to the special characteristics of its wavelength, the Erbium:YAG laser is the best option for the selective heating of the target layers and for avoiding any unwanted effect on the surrounding tissue (e.g. muscularis or adventitia).

The laser beam splitted into severals several hundred partial rays gently penetrate the tissue and triggers skin renewal and collagen formation with rapid wound healing.

The procedure is fast, safe and painless, takes less than 15 minutes and can be performed with no need for anesthesia.

As a result of the treatment the tissue regains elasticity and moisture, providing for thickness and softness. All the unpleasant symptoms are significantly reduced immediately after the session and disappear finally.

The beneficial effect continues even after the treatment has finished and for this reason, many women report further improvements during the first month post-treatment.

The MCL31 Dermablate can be upgraded with the following optional items:

MicroSpot handpiece with adjustable cover rate

The MicroSpot handpiece features a special microlens array with a 13 x 13 mm spot (169 MicroSpots) and is used for fractional skin ablation treatments, such as fractional skin rejuvenation. This optic allows the selective treatment of only “fractions” of the tissue in the form of a grid. This is made possible by splitting the laser beam into several hundred partial rays. This triggers skin renewal and collagen formation with rapid wound healing, which is supported by the untreated skin and therefore involves a very low risk of side effects. Thanks to an exclusive microlens array, the MicroSpot technology provides a unique level of precision. The cover rate can be set directly on the handpiece by rotating the ring. This increases flexibility and enables even better treatment results in fractional laser therapy.

VarioTEAM XL handpiece with adjustable spot size of 8-12 mm

In addition to the standard handpiece, you can also choose the VarioTEAM XL Handpiece, which allows you to adjust the spot sizes starting from 8 up to 12mm – for the rapid treatment of larger lesions.
